Developing the autonomy of the child in the evaluation of their own learning

Abstract

With the adoption in México of a curriculum for the basic education in the language área based in the social practices, the process of knowledge, has been complexed in a notable way. Particularly, those process that has been with the punctual following of the knowledges and their use to guide and the didactic process, now it has to reoriented to integrate in a consistence way with the new orientations of the actual plans and study programmes. Consequently, the present research aims to establish a formative evaluation process that gives permenent advance in the learning of the students in first grade of basic education inside the acquisition ambit in the written language. Our principal supossed is that the developed process let to take the best desitions in the didactic work in this área, and will let the advances of the comunication with other educational changed agents. Starting, in an investigation process action develped by the teacher in colaboration with the principal and the parents, is to put into practice in a reflective plan of work that try to allow the most autonomy of each student to follow their own process in a knowledge evaluation. The principal component of this plan consists in the creation of spaces of autonomies evaluations for the students, in a framework of a reading and writting situations focus on social practices of language. The results of the followings are based in planned actions, by now, gives results that the students are capable children that asume an important autonomy and responsability in the following of their own knowledges.
