Artificial Intelligence Usage Policy
In response to the increasingly widespread use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the production of academic content, the journal establishes this policy to safeguard the integrity, transparency, and rigor of the generation and dissemination of scientific knowledge.
Authorship and Use of Artificial Intelligence
The journal maintains that authorship must rest exclusively with the researchers and academics responsible for conducting the research, and therefore does not recognize artificial intelligence tools as co-authors. Such tools do not meet the essential criteria for authorship, including the ability to assume ethical and legal responsibility for the content produced.
Accordingly, the exclusive use of AI in the preparation of manuscripts is not permitted. In cases where a manuscript is found to have been generated predominantly through artificial intelligence, without a substantial contribution from the author in terms of analysis, interpretation, and argumentation, it will be rejected prior to publication or retracted if it has already been published.
Authors bear full responsibility for reviewing, validating, and correcting any content produced with the assistance of AI tools, taking into account potential risks such as bias, inaccuracies, or inconsistencies. Furthermore, the use of these technologies must adhere to the principles of scientific integrity, avoiding practices that compromise originality, infringe upon intellectual property rights, or involve improper data manipulation.
The Editorial Board may request additional information regarding the use of AI.
Undisclosed or inappropriate use of AI constitutes an ethical breach (see Editorial Ethics and Best Practices) and may result in the rejection of the manuscript or the retraction of the article, in line with the principles of responsible governance and human oversight.
This policy is subject to periodic review in accordance with evolving technologies and ethical standards.
